Our current show team
Having the occasional litter and with the enjoyment and success that can come to enthusiastic breeders, in 2023 we celebrated 40 years of sharing our lives with delightful PBGVs.
Those today are direct descendents from our first PBGVs obtained in 1983.

Here you can see PBGVs we have bred or owned over the years and the successes of our current mini-pack.
This website also now incorporates elements of Meet the Basset Breeds giving BGV, Basset and Basset Fauve de Bretagne owners more information about the shorter-legged scenthounds which originated in France. You can see a little about the history of each, the Breed Standards (the ideal of what each breed should look like) and the BGV Extended Standards designed to help judges and owners alike expand their knowledge.
